Join the Cornell Club of the Lehigh Valley on a private walking tour of the Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel and learn about life as a steelworker! Learn how blast furnaces worked, why men needed brass checks to get in the gate every morning, and which buildings housed which operation on this on-site walking tour that gives visitors a glimpse into the day-to-day life of a steel worker.
    
Our day will begin with an optional lunch nearby at Southside 313, 313 E 3rd St, Bethlehem, at 12:30pm. At 2pm, we’ll leave lunch to head over to the Visitor Center at Steelstacks, 711 E 1st St, Bethlehem, for the tour, which will end at 4pm. If you can’t make it for the whole event, we invite you to join for either part individually (tour or lunch)!

The tour costs $20/person (paid during the registration
process); lunch will be pay-your-own-way.
