The Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District and the CALS Alumni Association are pleased to announce our first annual “Maple Madness” event.

What:
Come learn about New York State’s maple industry and taste different kinds of maple syrup. At this family friendly event, we will be serving pancakes with real Cornell maple syrup! Meal includes pancakes, juice box, and tea or coffee.

In addition, Five Rivers is hosting their annual maple open house from 1:30 – 3:30 pm, where you can learn all about maple sugaring, from sap to syrup. Maple syrup will also be available for purchase from a local farmer.

Event cost is $5/person. Seating is limited and we will sell out, so get your tickets early. We will be unable to accommodate walk-ins for what is sure to be a popular event.

Who: Our special guest speaker this year is Adam Wild, Director of Cornell’s Uihlein Maple Research Forest at Lake Placid.

Pancake Breakfast and Speaker: Noon – 1:30 pm
