Location: Albany, NY

The Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network (CAAAN) is seeking volunteers from Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington counties.  Being a member of CAAAN is a great way to stay connected to Cornell.

CAAAN is the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, a group Cornell alumni who serve as enthusiastic ambassadors to prospective students and families in all 50 states and at least 50 nations across the globe.  Alumni ambassadors are important to Cornell’s admissions recruitment efforts as they meet individually with freshman applicants, staff college fairs, and host local receptions for admitted and entering students. CAAAN members not only share their experiences and information about Cornell, but also help to personalize the admissions process for thousands of candidates each year. The amount you volunteer with CAAAN is completely up to you as you can indicate the number of freshman applicants that you have time to meet with.

The local CAAAN Committees are hosting a training on Tuesday, January 8th at 6:00 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel located on Wolf Road in Albany, New York.   This training will familiarize you with the CAAAN meeting format and allow you to meet other CAAAN members from our area.  We invite all new members and any current members who would like a refresher training to attend.

If you would like to volunteer, please click here and complete the form. You will receive a welcome email with more information.

If you would like to attend the CAAAN training on January 8th, please email Barry Hecht at BMH25@cornell.edu.
