Join us on Cornell Cares Day – Saturday January 7 – as we help distribute food to the community at the HCC Dale Mabry Campus! We will get an early start at 7am and finish no later than 11am. Minimum age is 13 years old with adult supervision. No prior experience required.

Additional Information from Feeding Tampa Bay: 1. Given the recent change in CDC guidelines and our desire to ensure the safety of our volunteers and staff, we are requiring all volunteers wear masks once again – for both inside and outside shifts. This is true for vaccinated and non-vaccinated volunteers. 2. In consideration of your safety, volunteers MUST wear flat, closed-toe shoes. You should also avoid wearing tank tops; sleeveless or short-cut shirts (crop tops); and short-shorts. If these guidelines are not followed, volunteers will be asked to reschedule their shift. 3. We provide all orientation on site at the start of your service – no need to study anything before you see us! 4. All volunteers will check in with the Feeding Tampa Bay staff member on site – who will direct you to sign in and fill out a name tag. 5. Masks and gloves will be available to all volunteers on site. 6. Please plan accordingly for the weather. If rain looks to be in the forecast, we recommend bringing a raincoat, poncho, extra shoes/socks, etc. If severe weather is in the forecast and we need to cancel the pantry, we’ll let you know via email as soon as possible. 7. Hydration will be provided onsite for volunteers. If you wish to have a snack during the shift, feel free to bring one along. 8. All volunteers will be required to complete a waiver.
