International Event: Switzerland
Dear Cornellians,
After a great and joyful Cornell weekend in Pontresina we are looking forward to our next event.
Soon we will enjoy an extremely picturesque hike with magnificent panoramic views of Lake Biel and the St. Peter’s Peninsula. The deep blue lake will accompany us all along the way from the German speaking area through French speaking places and back to the German part.
We are really pleased to invite you to this lovely hike. Cornell friends are very welcome too!
The entire Sunday-hike from Twann to the St. Peter’s Peninsula will take approximately five
hours, not including breaks (19 km / total elevations 75 m and 80 m). The trails are easy and partly asphalted. If you prefer a shorter hike, please contact me and we will arrange an individual meeting point on the way. You may also just join the group at the Klosterhotel on St. Peter’s Peninsula, which you can reach directly by boat. After our meal we will return to the train station of Twann or to Biel/Bienne with an early evening ship. Everything is at your own expense.
