Location: Tucson, AZ

WHAT:  In response to popular demand—and some creative thinking—we will hold our Spring Picnic and Annual Meeting at Catalina State Park.

WHEN:  Sunday, April 15

TIME: 4:00 – 6:30 PM

A family friendly hike on the 1.5-mile Nature Trail starts at 2:30.  Contact Suzi Hileman at suzihileman@gmail.com for details.

WHERE:  We have  reserved the Picnic Area Ramada.

There are flush toilets adjacent (small building to the left in the photo) and parking with a paved path to the Ramada.  The park has excellent hiking and walking paths.  Feel free to combine the picnic with a hike!

PARK ENTRANCE FEE:  $7 per car (of up to 4 adults)

PICNIC COST:  $8 per person, kids $4

FOOD:  Bring a side dish (appetizer, salad, vegetable, or dessert) to share.  The Club will provide grilled chicken, soft drinks/beer/wine, and paper/plastics.  Two grills are available for cooking or grilling, but bring your own fuel and starter.

DIRECTIONS:  From the corner of West Ina and North Oracle Roads, take Oracle Road (Highway 77) north 6.3 miles to the entrance of Catalina State Park on the right.  Entrance is across from The Oro Valley Marketplace entrance, south of Tangerine.

RSVP:  By April 8, to icke63@gmail.com, or phone Warren at (520) 749-4885.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
