Join Us As We Learn About A Treasure Chest Of Classical To Modern Chinese Literature And Art

The Elling Eide Center is a private research library and nature preserve overlooking Little Sarasota Bay.

The Library designed by Sarasota architect Guy Peterson houses one of the largest private Chinese language libraries in the world!

We have a special opportunity to tour a facility that few people have seen.
This is an event for our club only!

When: Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Time: 9:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Where:
8000 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota

There are signs on Route 41 indicating the entrance which is co-located with The Presbyterian Church of the Covenant

We begin with a lecture by Harold Mitchell cousin of Elling Eide the eccentric man who conceived the idea of the Center.

Then we have a rare opportunity to tour the building and explore its wonderful contents of books and decorative arts.

Final RSVP Date Saturday, February 10 or at 50 people.
