The Board of Directors of the Cornell Club of Sarasota-Manatee invites all members and non-members in the area, including current students, their parents, and Cornell friends and family to this upcoming virtual kick-off for the 2020 – 2021 season! 

Celebrate Cornell Traditions

Sunday, October 18, 2020 

4 – 5:30 PM 

Cornell has a long history of traditions beginning with the opening ceremonies in 1868 and including lore, songs and all kinds of events. You have experienced some and many may be new.

We’ll start the party with a special guest and a song, move on to getting together by decades in small “rooms” so you can chat with old friends and meet new ones, then move on to a great presentation of past and present traditions. After this we’ll reconvene to different “rooms” to share remembrances of your time “on the hill” and, for parents, ask your students what traditions they are enjoying because many of theirs may be new to us.

Finally, we’ll wrap up the day with a rousing rendition by all of us of the Alma Mater and we’ll put up the words for you.
