Join us as we welcome fellow Cornellians new to the San Diego area and celebrate the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night with alumni worldwide.  If you attend one Cornell Club of San Diego event in 2017, this is the one!  This year, the Cornell Club will proudly host Zinck’s Night at Arterra Restaurant and Lounge, a premier SD restaurant in a central location with an amazing poolside lounge, delicious food, and ample parking.

Admission price includes access to our private poolside lounge and delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres.  We will have our own bartender serving an award-winning selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails.

Did you know?  Theodore Zinck was an Ithaca saloon owner whose pub, the Hotel Brunswick, was a popular hangout for Cornellians in the 1890s.  When he died in 1903, a series of bars in and around Collegetown adopted his name. Even though the last bar closed in the 1960s, Cornellians began commemorating the spirit of Zinck’s Night by gathering on a Thursday night, once a year. This tradition of undergraduates coming together to enjoy camaraderie and refreshments has grown into a gathering for Cornellians everywhere.
