Calling all Cornell Hockey Sports Fans! Come cheer on the Big Red Hockey team as Cornell faces Boston University in the first round of the NCAA regional tournament. We’ll gather at the Distillery, 3010 S. Winton Road, Rochester, at 12:30 PM for the start of the game at 1 PM. The broadcast will air live on ESPNews (Channel 26 locally on Spectrum cable). The men’s hockey team has earned a No. 1 seed for the regional tournament for the first time since 2003. The game is being played at DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. The winner of the Cornell-BU game will face the winner of the region’s other semifinal, pitting second-seeded Michigan against third-seeded Northeastern at 4 p.m. Saturday. The Northeast regional final is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday.
