Cornell Cares Day is a worldwide student-alumni service event that connects Cornellians past, present and future to serve their local community through direct, hands-on service projects.

Please join the Cornell Club of Northern New Jersey at our Cornell Cares Day project on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at The Community FoodBank of NJ in Hillside from 11am to 1:30pm. We’ll be sorting food for distribution to local foodbanks. If you’ve never been to The Community FoodBank, it is an amazing place!

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey provides food, help and hope to people in need across the state. Last year, the FoodBank distributed more than 43 million pounds of food among its 1,000 community partners, including soup kitchens and pantries. We welcome you to bring a contribution of non-perishable food and we will weigh our group’s total donation.

Up to 100 Cornellians and friends are expected at this “sold-out” event! Ages 12 and up are welcome to join us. Current Cornell students will be in attendance to discuss “life on the hill” with high school students.

We look forward to seeing you there!
