Participate in Cornell Cares Day on Saturday, January 11, 2020!

Cornell Cares Day is a worldwide student-alumni service event that connects Cornellians past, present, and future to service their local community through direct, hands-on service projects.

Join the Cornell Club of Northern New Jersey on our Cornell Cares Day project! We’ll be sorting food for distribution to local food banks at the Community Food Bank of NJ. If you’ve never been there, it is an amazing place!! It has provided food to low-income New Jersey residents since 1975. Today, the Community FoodBank of NJ distributes about 56.5 million pounds of food and groceries a year, and serves 1,000 non-profit programs. We welcome you to bring a contribution of non-perishable food if possible.

Note: Because this event “sells out” every year, we will have two shifts. Please sign up for either the first shift 9:00AM – 11:30AM, or the second shift 11:00AM – 1:30PM. We’ll have coffee, bagels, donuts, and Cornell swag between the two shifts!

Registrants must be 12 years of age or older to participate.

Important Registration Instructions: When you reach the “Choose your shift” step, please check the boxes for you and your guest(s) to indicate which shift you are registering for. You can choose the First Shift OR the Second Shift for each participant.
