Miller-Cory House Museum and the Sheep to Shawl festival

The Cornell Club of Northern New Jersey invites you to the Miller-Cory House Museum for their Sheep to Shawl festival. Some Colonial activities typically run on this day include a demonstration of sheep shearing and spinning, colonial laundry day, making the drink “switchel,” and children’s games. Please arrive on the earlier side of the time frame to make sure that you see the sheep being sheared. While this event is open to the public, we are going to gather as a group from the Cornell Club to experience the 18th Century farm activities together with our families.  The event is rain or shine. Please sign up below so we can expect you, but pay the museum directly when you arrive.

Date: Sunday, April 24, 2016
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: Miller-Cory House Museum
