Cornell Club of Northeastern Ohio – The Talent Dividend

Join us for an evening of discussion and an opportunity to become involved providing opportunities to area students.

The Cornell Club of Northeast Ohio is pleased to invite you to an evening dedicated to improving Northeast Ohio through education.  We have the honor of welcoming Mr. Lee Fisher of CEOs for Cities and Ms Kittie Warshawsky of CollegeNow to share their involvement in lifting our city through education.   Come and learn how to become involved as a mentor, by sharing your Cornell story with outstanding young students, and connecting with our community.

Lee Fisher, President of CEOs for Cities and Senior Fellow at the Center for Economic Development at Cleveland State’s Levin College of Urban Affairs, and former Ohio Attorney General and Lt. Governor, will discuss his work in improving Northeast Ohio through measured research, incremental change, and accelerated actions.

Also joining us will be Kittie Warshawsky, Chief External Affairs Officer, and Madeline Rife, Mentoring Program Manager, both of CollegeNow, to share how the CollegeNow program empowers underserved youth in Cleveland to attend and excel at college.

We will also introduce an emerging collaboration between CCNEO and CollegeNow to share the Cornell story with top CMSD students and offer support to applicants and matriculating students.

When:  Tuesday, April 26th, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Where:  CollegeNow Greater Cleveland, 50 Public Square, Suite 1800, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. Located on Level 3 of Tower City Center

We are respectfully requesting a donation of $20 to benefit CCNEO’s continuing effort to engage local high school students and support current students.

This event will be capped at 50 guests.  Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
