Harvard Business School Club of Kansas City invites All-Ivy

Please join us for a talk by Elizabeth Frank, EVP, Worldwide Programming & Chief Content Officer at AMC, and a private screening on Tuesday evening, October 16, 2018

First Man
After seeing “First Man,” it’s doubtful you’ll think about space flight, or Armstrong’s historic walk, in quite the same way. You’ll know more deeply how it happened, what it meant and what it was, and why its mystery — more than ever — still lingers.     Owen Gleiberman, Variety

Elizabeth Frank (MBA ’94) EVP, Worldwide Programming and Chief Content Officer at AMC will speak about cinema and her work in the industry.

The film is based on the book by James R. Hansen.  It explores the sacrifices and the cost of NASA’s mission to land on the moon, one of the most dangerous missions in history.  Directed by Academy Award winner Damien Chazelle and written by Academy Award winner Josh Singer.  Starring Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy.

Mr. Chazelle is a graduate of Harvard’s Visual and Environmental Studies department.  Production companies include Universal Pictures, Dreamworks and Amblin Entertainment.  Steven Speilberg is one of the executive producers.
