Join the Cornell Club of Mid-America and Cornellians around the world on Cornell Cares Day, Saturday, January 6th, 2018 !   We will be volunteering our time at Happy Bottoms, Kansas City’s only diaper bank, sorting and packaging diapers for distribution throughout the community.

Did you know that 1 in 3 American families struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their babies happy, healthy and dry? In the Kansas City area, an estimated 23,000+ children aren’t receiving the diapers they need to be happy and healthy. Despite today’s best outreach efforts, diapers still remain an under-served area of need. Together we can help solve this piece of the poverty puzzle!
This event is open to current students, Cornell alumni, Friends of Cornell, and families. Children must be at least eleven years old to attend. We’ll be on our feet, and the warehouse can be chilly – please dress comfortably and bring a sweater.
