Murder at Fort Leavenworth or The General is Generally Dead
A Summer Show on Monday, June 25, 2018 presented by The Levity Players Group.
The “back story”: General Swinbutton, who runs Fort Leavenworth, is hosting a formal, military banquet honoring his self-described “glorious achievements.” Before dinner can start, the General is the victim of not-so-friendly fire.
The actors* in the murder mystery are also the servers for the dinner, and there is great interaction between the actors and the dinner guests. It is truly enjoyable!
The dinner includes:
House Italian Salad
Chicken Spedini Two Way – Topped with Diablo and Alfredo and served over Pasta; or
Italian Flag – Cascone’s Famous Baked Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, and Creamy Fettuccini Alfredo; or
Salmon Piccata-Fresh Salmon Sautéed with lemon, wine, butter, capers, and artichoke hearts and served with Fettuccini; or
Veal Limonata-Lightly Floured and sautéed with butter, lemon, and white wine and served with Fettuccini Alfredo
Dessert: Tiramisu and mini-cannoli
Complimentary soft drinks and coffee
Wine, beer, and other alcoholic drinks are available from cash bar.
The cost of the event is $55 per person, and this includes the performance and the dinner.
To make reservations, make entrée selection, and prepay ($55): Call Johnny Cascone’s at 913-381-6837. Please mention you are with the Cornell Club of Mid-America group.
Address: Johnny Cascone’s, 6863 W 91st St, Overland Park, KS 66212
The event is open to the public, seating is limited, Cascone’s will try to seat CCMA members together.
*One of the actors is Marty ’63 and Dianne ’66 Lustig’s granddaughter! (As part of the mystery, can you figure out which part she is playing?)
