Learn more about the Joyce Ivy Foundation and its work to encourage talented young women from Michigan, and other parts of the Midwest, to apply to highly selective colleges and universities, including our alma maters.  The Foundation recently announced the 2018 cohort of Summer Scholars, including 35 students from Michigan.

Admissions officers from many of our institutions will attend the reception and provide updates on the 2018 admissions cycle.

Please note that this event is for alumni of our college partners, and Joyce Ivy Scholar alumnae, and is not designed to be a family event for children or high school students who are prospective college applicants.

7th Annual Joyce Ivy College Admissions Symposium
Ann Arbor

This program is designed for high school counselors, educators, community organization leaders, female high school juniors and their families. Admissions and financial aid officers from Amherst, Barnard, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Smith, Stanford, Penn, Wellesley, and Yale will be leading sessions, and many of these representatives will join us for the Friday Reception. 13th Annual Summer Scholars Gala
Ypsilanti

An evening celebration of the 2018 Joyce Ivy Summer Scholars, who have received scholarships to participate in pre-college academic programs at Barnard, Brown, Cornell, Emory, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Smith, Stanford, Washington University in St. Louis, and Yale.

We will also honor the 2018 Joyce Ivy Leader of the Year, Janet Reid, founder and CEO of BRBS World and founding partner and Director (retired) of Global Novations, and the 2018 recipients of the Women of Impact Award.
