Calling all aspiring playwrights!

Do you have an idea to document? A story to tell? Then this class is for you. CCMD is sponsoring this first-time offering of a 3-week workshop on playwriting. Each participant will be introduced to the 10-min play genre and will have the opportunity to write a first draft of his or her own 10-min play. The class format will be seminar style with supportive critique, suggestions, and dialog from class members aimed at aiding the playwright in his/her journey. Class members should come prepared to share, participate in class, as well as to work on their writing on their own time. Alumni and their families are invited, children, and grandchildren ages 11+ are welcome to attend with an adult.

Session 1: 7/23/2020 1-2 pm

Session 2: 7/30/2020 1-2 pm

Session 3: 08/06/2020 1-2 pm
