The Museum of Tolerance (MOT) is the educational arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, an internationally renowned human rights organization. The only museum of its kind in the world, the MOT challenges visitors to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts and confront all forms of prejudice and discrimination in the world today.

Through high-tech interactive exhibits, community events, and customized educational programs for youths and adults, the museum engages the hearts and minds of visitors while challenging them to assume responsibility for positive change.

Among the innovative experiences are live personal testimonies from speakers that include Holocaust survivors, former hate crime perpetrators and civil rights icons, offering visitors a chance to engage with those who bear witness to history and whose stories inform and inspire.

A special exhibit, “Anne,” will be viewable, although there is a separate admission price (see below).  Below is some information about “Anne.”

Location: Museum of Tolerance, 9786 West Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035. (Southeast corner of Pico Boulevard and Roxbury Dr)

Parking: Free parking under the building on the Pico side. There is also street parking on Pico.  Please do not park on residential streets.

Go Metro: Take the Metro 14/37 to Beverwil Drive and W. Pico Boulevard and walk 2 blocks west on Pico Boulevard. Plan your best route using the Trip Planner

Cost:
Museum of Tolerance Tour only: $13 per person  – Reservations must be made through the CCLA website to participate with the Cornell group tour. CCLA members are welcome to make reservations for guests including age appropriate children. (The Museum suggests 7th grade and up.) If you attend but do not have a reservation through CCLA ticketing for the group tour you will pay the regular Museum entrance fee and will only be able to join the exclusive Cornell tour space permitting. Otherwise the Museum offers docent tours throughout the day.

Please make reservations early since we have a limit on the docent tour. We look forward to you joining us.  

Optional lunch: The Cafe is located on the 4th floor. Kosher food with a good selection. (No food or beverages can be brought into the Museum.)

Special Ann Frank Exhibit (tickets to be purchased separately at the museum’s front desk upon arrival): $12 per person (CCLA special rate).

WHY AN EXHIBIT ON ANNE FRANK?
Anne is an extraordinary new immersive exhibit on the life and legacy of Anne Frank. Anne’s story, told in her own words, comes to life through rare artifacts, unique documents, and photographs.
