Beaudry Loop Hike in Glendale

Our third annual hike on this trail!

The Beaudry Loop Hike in northern Glendale starts behind the fence at about 3100 Beaudry Ave., Glendale, 91208. – Spectacular views at the top: Glendale, Hollywood, Los Angeles skyline, the Burbank airport, the #5 Freeway, the ocean, Catalina (on a clear day).  It’s a moderately steep hike (8 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most steep), 5.5 miles, 2 ½ hours, mostly in direct sun.  No water sources on the trail (bring at least two 18-oz. bottles of water).    

 Best perks: the views of the houses built into the hills and the feeling of walking into the sky as you get higher and higher, looking more and more down at the straight-line mountain traffic on the #2 Freeway.
