Sid Jacobson JCC Stronger Than Cancer 5K, which will take place on Sunday, October 25. This annual community event supports the Nancy Marx Cancer Wellness Center and helps ensure that individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis can access our FREE supportive and individualized services.

We’re recruiting local groups to serve as official Cheer Teams along the race course, helping to motivate and encourage hundreds of runners and walkers throughout the event.

Cornell Cares would be assigned a designated location along the course and invited to bring their enthusiasm/spirit, signs, pom-poms, cowbells, music, chants, and positive energy to help create an unforgettable race experience.

The Stronger Than Cancer 5K brings together individuals and families from across Long Island in support of vital community programs. Your team’s encouragement can make a tremendous difference, especially when participants need an extra boost to reach the finish line.
