Please join the Cornell Club of Long Island for Cornell Cares 2023! Help us fight food insecurity on Long Island. Please join us as we volunteer to work in the food bank warehouse on Tuesday, January 11 from 9am to 12pm. Please consider bringing a donation of canned and non-perishable foods. Age requirement is 12 years old, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at any volunteer event. All volunteers must provide proof of vaccination for Covid-19 at the event.

Island Harvest Food Bank is a leading hunger-relief organization with a mission to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island. We accomplish this through efficient food and product collection and distribution systems, enhanced hunger awareness and nutrition education programs, a Workforce Skills Development Institute, targeted services for specific populations, outreach activities and advocacy initiatives.
