Are you curious about astronomy and the skies above? Meet Prof. David Kornreich, who founded Ask an Astronomer in 1997 when he was a graduate student at Cornell. Ask an Astronomer is a public platform that allows the public to ask questions about astronomy and have them answered by a real, live astronomer. During this free event, Dr. Kornreich will lead us on a tour of the Fuertes Observatory, provide a (brief) history of the study of astronomy, and, weather permitting, allow us to gaze at the stars through the telescope. Kids are welcome!
