Event Details

Location: Ithaca, NY

On November 11, from 9 am to 4 pm (stay as long as you wish), women alumni from the Cornell Club of Ithaca will have an opportunity to help Habitat for Humanity build a new home for a deserving Ithaca family. Construction began in late April, so we’ll be working on the final stages. The site is on the corner of Morris Avenue and Third Street, Ithaca, across from the Department of Motor Vehicles office, and just off Route 13. All tools will be provided, and the Habitat crew will provide instruction and training as necessary.

You may choose to work as much or as little time as is convenient; feel free to come and go as you wish. Habitat appreciates any time you can spend helping out.

Wear comfortable clothes (you’ll probably get dirty) and closed-toe shoes or sneakers (this is a construction project, after all). Bring a bag lunch and a refillable water bottle. There will be a water cooler on site, and snacks will be provided.

This is a “Women Build” event and is limited to 15 women alumni members from the Cornell Club of Ithaca. Free tee-shirts will be provided to all participants!
