Discover Cayuga Lake with fellow Cornell alumni, family and friends.
Earlier this year, 70 Cornell alumni, family and friends enjoyed a two-hour Cayuga Lake cruise, organized by the Cornell Club of Ithaca (CCI), aboard the 63-foot MV Teal. Old acquaintances were renewed, new friends were made and a great time was had by all!
Your Cornell Club of Ithaca (CCI) has organized a second two-hour sunset/full moon cruise on Friday, September 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm., departing from the Alan Treman Marina. The cost of the cruise is $35 per person, with a discounted rate of $30 for young/recent alumni. Light snacks/hors d’oeuvres, a delicious cake and soft drinks will be provided. Passengers are welcome to bring their own food and soft drinks on board. Lakewood Vineyards, owned and operated by two generations of Cornellians, will be on board offering a free wine tasting.
Our last cruise sold out so please Register Early. Seating is limited to 60 passengers. Questions regarding this event may be directed to stevedolanhr@gmail.com.
The Coast Guard Inspected M/V Teal launched on Cayuga Lake in May of 2018. It is operated by Discover Cayuga Lake, a non-profit whose primary mission is to provide hands-on learning opportunities in the interest of sustaining our Finger Lakes waterways for future generations. They are the host organization for the Floating Classroom conducting science on the lake for grades five up through Cornell students. They offer eco-cruises, sunset cruises, community cruises and private charters on Cayuga Lake (May-October).
