June is a beautiful time for getting outdoors! Join fellow Cornellians for a stroll through the landscapes and horticultural collections of Tyler Arboretum, near Media, PA.

Tyler is a former Quaker family farm that traces its history back to the time of William Penn. Today, it is a 650-acre public garden, with champion trees, a world-class rhododendron collection, treehouses, and more.

We will have a guided tour of historical and horticultural highlights. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds afterward, and stay for a walk in the woods, if you wish.

We will gather at 9:45, and docent-led tours will begin promptly at 10:00. The tour involves up to one mile of walking over varied surfaces: asphalt, gravel, lawn. Please dress for the weather!
