This is a low-key, family-friendly outing to beautiful and historic Tyler Arboretum in Delaware County. Cornell alumna and Tyler Board President Heather Saunders will lead a tour highlighting some of Tyler’s 335-year history, magnificent trees and horticultural collections. Bring a picnic lunch and stay longer to explore Tyler’s 650 acres of woods and meadows.

   10:30-12:00 Tour of arboretum highlights
   12:00-1:00 BYO picnic lunch
   1:00-3:00 Individual exploration or guided walk on Tyler’s hiking trails (optional) 
    
All activities will be outdoors. Please dress accordingly and wear comfortable walking shoes. The event will be cancelled if the weather is severely inclement. 
 
The only cost for this event is the arboretum’s group admission charge, which participants will pay on-site: $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for children, students and military, Free for children 2 and under.
