Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia: Dinner to Celebrate 2018 the Year of the Brown Earth Dog

This event has reached capacity. Please register here to be put on the wait list.

Join us as we celebrate the Lunar New Year again at Sakura Mandarin in Philadelphia’s Chinatown. 2018 will be the year of the Brown Earth Dog, and is forecast to be ” a good year in all respects, but it will also be an exhausting year. You will be happy, yet frustrated, rested, yet tired, cheerful, yet dull!” For more detail on what the year might bring, check out this link.

Sakura Mandarin is owned by Cornellian Jack Chang ’00 and this will be the third year he has hosted us. He always picks a great selection of excellent food and this event has always sold out, so be sure to register early. The maximum we can take is 40 people. Children are welcome. The price covers food, tea and soft drinks. You can BYOB.

The restaurant is located at the corner of Race and 11th Streets – two blocks from SEPTA’s Jefferson and 11th and Market Stations. There is ample parking in the neighborhood as well.
