Event Details

Help exercise beautiful greyhounds by joining the Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia for Cornell Cares Day 2017. Greyhounds, like all dogs, need exercise year-round. Last year’s dog walk event was a huge success, here’s hoping for similar success this year. Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older to walk a dog solo; however, adults can walk a dog on a double-leash with a child under 12 years old.

The National Greyhound Adoption Program always appreciates volunteers that can come and walk our dogs. Greyhounds love human companionship, exercise, and affection and you could help give them that while they wait for their new permanent home! Come partake in a leisurely stroll and get some fresh air – we bet you’ll enjoy the walk as much as our greyhounds!
