Event Details

Help exercise beautiful Greyhounds for Cornell Cares Day 2017 in January. Greyhounds, like all dogs, need exercise especially in the winter. Last year’s dog walk event was a huge success, here’s hoping for similar success this year. There will be two times for walking dogs 9-10:30 and 2-4; each slot will be capped at 12 adults. Kids are welcome.
Here’s a note from the NGAP organization:
NGAP always appreciates volunteers that can come and walk our dogs. Greyhounds love human companionship, exercise, and affection and you could help give them that while they wait for their new permanent home! Come partake in a leisurely stroll and get some fresh air – we bet you’ll enjoy the walk as much as our greyhounds!
If temperature is below 32 degrees the dogs can’t be walked outside, there will be one more event that day that is indoors.
