Join us for our annual Asian New Year celebration. 2019 corresponds to the Year of the Pig. According to Chinese astrology, 2019 is a great year to make money, and a good year to invest! 2019 is going to be full of joy, a year of friendship and love for all the zodiac signs; an auspicious year because the Pig attracts success in all the spheres of life.

We will be at the newly remodeled (and renamed) Bai Wei restaurant, owned by Jack Chen, Cornell ’00. It used to be called Sakura Mandarin. It is located at 1038 Race Street (corner of 11th Street) in Center City. There is plenty of nearby parking and SEPTA’s Regional Rail Jefferson and their Market-Frankfurt Line 11th Street stations are three blocks away.

This event is limited to 40 people and always sells out, so be sure to make your reservation soon! We will have a fixed menu, and soft drink and tea available. The restaurant is BYOB. While vegetarians will find it easy to pick among the offerings, we are sorry that, because of the fixed menu, we cannot accommodate people with food sensitivities or allergies.

COST: General Admission & Young Alumni $35.00. Children under 12 $25.00
