The selection for April 5, 2022 is Educated: A Memoir by Tara Westover. This nonfiction book is described by the publisher as a “coming-of-age story that gets to the heart of what an education offers: the perspective to see one’s life through new eyes, and the will to change it.” Tara Westover did not attend school until the age of 17, and then went on to earn a PhD from Cambridge.
