Dear Cornellians and Friends!

After the fantastic annual meeting of the Cornell Club of Germany*, this year in Munich, May 6-8, we will soon be holding our local summer beer garden event: a table is reserved at the “Royal Hirschgarten” (www.hirschgarten.de) on Thursday, July 21st, anytime after 6:30.  This year it is important that you RSVP to me (deloyce.conrad@oberalting.de) by Monday, July 18 !  For those who are unfamiliar with the public transportation, I can gladly provide information.  I personally think it is easiest to take the S-Bahn to “Laim” — then a 15 minute walk; the way from the “Hirschgarten” S-Bahn stop is further and harder to find..

The new program chairperson of the Harvard Club in Munich, Michelle Kuhonta, has indicated that the annual Ivy Summer Drinks at Schumann’s is to be held on July 17th.  I don’t have further information, but please get back to me if you’re interested .

The newly formed Ivy Circle in Munich (www.ivycircle.de) will be holding the regular quarterly Stammtisch on Friday, September 16th.  Again, let me know if you are interested since I will be handling the Cornell reservations.
