Cornell Club of Fairfield County: Polo in Greenwich
September 4, 2016 @ 1:00 pm
Horses, color, activity, excitement, motion! The Cornell Club of Fairfield County invites you to Greenwich, CT for an afternoon of polo and a family picnic.
Established in 1981, the Greenwich Polo Club is recognized as one of the elite high-goal polo venues in the Northeast. Internationally recognized for its rosters of legendary teams and players, Greenwich Polo Club hosts public USPA high-goal polo matches.
This event has become one of our most popular with attendance growing every year. It’s a good time to meet up with old and new friends. Bring picnic blankets, chairs and snack lunch to help you enjoy the afternoon. Please see guidance for groups from polo club.
Cost: $40 if tickets bought in advance on-line or $60 at the gate (bring printed tickets to the gate for fast entrance to the field). Purchase your match tickets here!
Bring your friends, your kids, and your kids’ friends! Not to mention your friend’s kids. Gates open at 1 p.m. Match play begins at 3 p.m. and concludes at 5 p.m. See the Greenwich Polo Club website for directions.
Our club will occupy space under the trees, look for the red balloons. If you cannot find us, call or text Elizabeth on her cell at 203-561-2576. It’s a terrific afternoon; full of color; and you don’t need to know much about polo.
There’s no charge to register for the Cornell meet up portion of the event, only tickets for the match! Registering here lets us know to look for you at the event.
