Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC) has probably the largest presence of any business on Cape Cod. It is by far the largest employer, with over 500 physicians and 5700 employees. It includes the two Cape Cod acute care hospitals, the largest home health services agency on the Cape (VNA), a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, an assisted living facility, and numerous health programs.

Michael Lauf has served as President and CEO of CCHC since 2010. He also serves as CEO of Cape Cod Hospital. Prior to that, he served as CCHC’s Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2010. He has been recognized twice in recent years by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the nation’s “rising stars” in health care administration. During his tenure, CCHC has made great strides in operational and financial performance, while also developing a strong strategy focused on quality, service, access, and process improvement.

Mr. Lauf will discuss recent and upcoming developments at CCHC, including the planned addition of a new 40 bed six story tower at Cape Cod Hospital.
