Join Meryl Fink ’85, President of the Cornell Club of Boston, and Dr. Nicki Moore, the new Meakem Smith Director of Athletics and Physical Education, for a conversation and reception. Moore is the university’s first female director of athletics, and assumes this new role on the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. Dr. Moore has a PhD in counseling psychology and has created several initiatives that support student-athlete wellbeing.

Dr. Nicki Moore, Meakem Smith Director of Athletics and Physical Education
Dr. Nicki Moore, who brings nearly two decades of visionary athletics leadership and served as Vice President and Director of Athletics of Colgate University since 2018, was named the Meakem Smith Director of Athletics and Physical Education on Nov. 30, 2022. Moore became the 15th Director of Athletics in Cornell’s storied history and the first woman to hold the position.
