Join Cornell Alumna, Lauren Butler and Yale Alumnus, Al Ntiri for a performance by their marimba band Mafaro. They play traditional Zimbabwean music with The Rattletree School of Marimba (think giant wooden xylophones). Mafaro plays promptly at 7:30 pm and will be followed by an Mbira performance as well as music by Kupira Marimba. Please come enjoy this uplifting music with us, and feel free to dance! This is a family friendly venue, so your children are welcome. There will be two additional bands following our performances, so you can come early and stay late.
