No dogs allowed! This iconic Phoenix hike is jagged, steep, and full of switchbacks—but at the summit, the entire Valley of the Sun opens up beneath you. It’s a trail beloved by locals and internationally recognized among hiking enthusiasts.

Meet Your Hike Leader: Vicky Peng ’24 loves the outdoors and never misses a chance to hit the trail. A recent Cornell Engineering grad and an avid hiker, she is excited to guide the group up one of Phoenix’s most famous climbs. Vicky brings a friendly, down-to-earth energy and will make sure the hike is challenging, fun, and rewarding for everyone.
