DESCRIPTION:Above It All – From rugged trail to panoramic vistas!\n \nLooking for something new and entirely different? Join us for a breathtaking hike up Piestewa Peak Summit Trail—a short but steep climb that rewards every step with 360° views of the Phoenix metropolitan area. \n\nDate: Saturday\, November 15\, 2025\nMeeting Time: 8:30 AM. (Hike should be about 2 hours in duration\, including resting.)\nMeeting Place: Info will be given upon registration.\nWho: Physically fit hikers ready for a challenging adventure\nTrail Details Distance: about 2.0 miles (out and back) Elevation Gain: 1\,200 feet \nTrail Difficulty: Difficult\n\nNo dogs allowed! This iconic Phoenix hike is jagged\, steep\, and full of switchbacks—but at the summit\, the entire Valley of the Sun opens up beneath you. It’s a trail beloved by locals and internationally recognized among hiking enthusiasts. \nMeet Your Hike Leader: Vicky Peng ’24 loves the outdoors and never misses a chance to hit the trail. A recent Cornell Engineering grad and an avid hiker\, she is excited to guide the group up one of Phoenix’s most famous climbs. Vicky brings a friendly\, down-to-earth energy and will make sure the hike is challenging\, fun\, and rewarding for everyone. \nSafety Tips: \n\nWear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing\nBring a hat\, sunscreen\, and more water than you think you’ll need\nHydrate before starting\n    \n\n💪 Take on the trail. 🌄 Earn the view. \nCome see Phoenix from above it all.
