Let’s
kick off 2021 by helping to make our communities and the world a better
place through direct hands-on service projects. On Cornell Cares Day,
alumni and students join together in cities around the world for a day
of service organized by their local clubs. Cornell Club of Austin will
be volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank.
We will be sorting food and preparing food packages for deliveries to local food pantries.

Feel
free to bring canned goods to donate and wear closed toed shoes. Dress
in layers and wear comfortable clothes. We will plan to go to a local
restaurant after for those interested in joining.

The minimum age
to participate is 8 years old. Minors under the age of 18 must be
accompanied by an adult who is from their same household and is age 21+
in order to serve.
