Cornell Cares Day 2018 — Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership
We will be assisting the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP)with cleanup work in the downtown area. Such work may include raking leaves, trash and litter collection, graffiti removal, or painting (depending on the temperature). This volunteer work will take place outdoors and will take place rain, snow, or shine, so please remember to dress appropriately for the weather. Also wear comfortable clothes you can work (and possibly get a bit dirty) in. The volunteer shift is from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) was formed by downtown businesses, professionals, civic organizations, foundations, and residents. PDP develops and implements innovative programs and initiatives to enhance the downtown neighborhood, and promotes and markets Pittsburgh’s urban center to millions of people as the region’s premier destination to do business, to call home, or to visit for the best in shopping, dining, and entertainment. PDP’s mission is to advance initiatives that foster economic vitality and improve downtown life.
