The Cornell Club of Cape Cod is going to

Clean up the beach!

On Saturday June 3, Cornell alumni and current students will gather together on Menauhant Beach in East Falmouth for a beach clean-up.

This project, which will take less than two hours, is in honor of Cornell Cares Day, an opportunity to build ties among students and alums while serving the local community. For the first time, our own Club will be participating, taking advantage of a time when many students should be on hand to join local alumni and their families.

We will gather at the western beach-side parking lot at 10:30 am. Some people may be going into the brush, so dress ruggedly and tick-consciously (gloves, socks, rip-resistant clothing). Tools and bags will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bringing sun screen and water (in a re-usable container) is smart.

“Many hands make light work” as they say, so please join us. We may even stay for a casual lunch at a nearby restaurant, depending on how the group feels.

Register by June 2—we look forward to seeing you then!
