Help us complete the restoration of the historic 1894 bowling alley at Lyndhurst. We need 20 volunteers to scrape, sand, prime, and stain 14 pairs of wooden shutters. No prior experience needed; gloves, masks, and tools will be provided.

The day will include a tour of the interior of the bowling alley and (if time allows) the 1838 Gothic Revival mansion, once the home of Jay Gould. Lyndhurst, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is a 67-acre estate overlooking the Hudson River in Tarrytown.
