Join fellow Cornell Alumni for a hike at the Land’s end trail in San Francisco. Riding high on the cliffs at North America’s western edge, experience some exceptional views of Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean at San Francisco Bay. Add to that a chance to see San Francisco landmarks such as the Cliff House, Sutro Baths and the Legion of Honor, and you have the makings of a great hike experience.

We will start at the entrance to the Land’s End Trail in the Point Lobos Avenue parking lot and hike to Eagle’s point and back, ~3 miles in total. This trail is steep at times with quite a few stairs.

Notes:
Please plan on arriving at 10:50 AM so we can assemble the group together and start promptly at 11 AM.

This is a moderate hike in terms of difficulty.

Dress in layers based on the weather conditions.

We may go for a group lunch after the hike. More details to follow a few days before the hike.

Questions? Please contact Ellen Taylor, CLS ’16  or Raj Uppala, MBA ’15.
