Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassadors Network (“CAAAN”)

Every year local Cornell alumni meet with 300+ high school students from the DFW area who apply to Cornell.  These informal meetings occur mostly in December, January and February and is one of our biggest volunteer efforts as Cornell alumni.  

This year we are organizing three “Contact Days” where we invite interested applicants to meet with alumni volunteers at three central locations in Dallas, Denton and Plano. We are currently in need of volunteers to assist us with this endeavor, please sign up for one or more session(s) at the following links:

Saturday, 1/19 in Dallas (10:00-12:00 and/or 12:00-2:00)

If you have never signed up to be CAAAN volunteer or done a student contact meeting, we simply ask that you come in 30 minutes early for a quick training session.  It is a great way to meet local high school students and put a human face to the Cornell admissions process.  Please feel free to email carrillo.jamie@gmail.com if you have any questions.
