This is a Cornell Freshmen Send Off picnic sponsored by Coastal Connecticut Cornell Club Alumni for matriculating Cornell Freshmen along with all other Cornell students, their parents and other family members and all alumni in our networking area (New London, New Haven, and Middlesex Counties.) It will be held from Noon to 4 PM at Connecticut’s Hammonasset State Park in Madison, Connecticut. We have reserved a Pavilion, which we have use of from 8 AM to 8 PM, and attendees will have use of all Park facilities including the beach. Alumni will provide lunch.

*There is a $13 per car Hammonasset State Park parking fee, which the University will cover for existing students and newly accepted freshmen.  A parking pass will be issued via e-mail to each student planning to attend, which can then be shown at the Park gate when entering.  If you are a senior (65 years of age and older) and have a Charter Oak Pass for Connecticut State parks, please bring with you for automatic free parking.
