On behalf of Cornell Alumni Club of Western Washington, we are delighted to extend a cordial invitation to you to join an enriching panel discussion on the theme, “The Impact of ChatGPT on the World”. The event is scheduled for 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 15th at Nitro North (Amazon Building). This exclusive forum, primarily intended for Cornell Alumni, aims to delve into the profound effects of OpenAI’s language model, ChatGPT, on various aspects of our society. As a technology that has drawn worldwide attention, it is essential to discuss its implications, opportunities, and challenges in a global context. The panel will explore a range of subjects, including:

1. Impact on Jobs: We will examine the influence and impact of AI on jobs and how it’s shaping the future of work.
2. Productivity Enhancement: We will analyze how AI can assist in diverse sectors, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
3. Envisioning the Future: The broader implications of AI on our world will be discussed, with insights into how it might shape societal norms and values.
4. Entrepreneurship: Is this an iPhone moment? Will there be a boom in apps and services around this ecosystem.

We are planning to have 4 esteemed panel guests, each a leader in their respective domains, contributing to this discussion.

Note: If you are non-Amazonian, please reach the venue 15 minutes before the start time. We will be bringing people up to the event room in batches as Amazon does not allow guests to come into the office without a host from Amazon.
