Event Details

Please join the Cornell Club of Boston and author Joanne Serling (class of 1988) for a discussion on her debut novel Good Neighbors. This is the third book club event in our monthly “Book Talk with the Author” series.

Set in an idyllic suburb, Joanne Serling’s novel explores suburbia, friendship and family strained by a devotion to false appearances. Good Neighbors was published by Twelve/Grand Central Publishing in February 2018. Joanne is a graduate of Cornell University and studied and taught fiction at The Writers Studio in New York City. Previously, she worked in women’s magazines, high tech public relations and as Director of Public Affairs for American Express. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and children and is at work on her second book.
