Event Details

Cornell Cares Day is a worldwide student-alumni service event that connects Cornellians past and present to serve their local community through direct, hands-on service projects.

Join the Cornell Club of Northern New Jersey on our Cornell Cares Day project! We’ll be sorting food for distribution to local food banks. If you’ve never been to The Community Food Bank, it is an amazing place! It has provided food to low-income New Jersey residents since 1975. Today, The Community Food Bank of NJ distributes about 50 million pounds of food and groceries a year, service 1,000 non-profit programs. We welcome you to bring a contribution on non-perishable food if possible.

Note: Because this event “sells out” every year, we will have two shifts. Please sign up for either 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We’ll have coffee, bagels, donuts and Cornell giveaways between the two shifts!

Registrants must be 12 years of age or older to participate.

Important Registration Instructions: When you reach the “Choose your shift” step, please, check the boxes for you and your guest(s) depending on the shift you and them would like to sing up for. You can choose the First Shift OR Second Shift, for each participant.
